Organic ingredients don’t just make a difference on the recipe; it entirely changes the recipe. After my search for the perfect Chicken Pickle has been nothing but worse, I started making my own recipes. Even though I loved my recipes, there was this one time me and my best friend took all our day out to spend in the kitchen. We started with peeling and cleaning all our spices that came directly from the farms. We hand ground all our spices in an age old Mortar & Pestle. We used cold pressed oils just to make our cooking session fancy. We had a great time that noon from that came this master piece of a recipe, We couldn’t stop eating that lunch.
In our very first month into business, we were soo short of money that we decided to tweak the recipe with the store bought ingredients. If you didn’t know, we started with 1300 INR in lockdown 1 because our incomes were disturbed by the global lockdown. After people loving our first 2 batches of pickle, our third batch with store bought ingredients did not turn out to be the same. It confused me a lot while making the pickle but, I tried to finish it with my best skill I could bring forward. I was not happy after it was done, I told my partner Parth that we are not going to sell it; He kindly nodded his head in support even though we were simply broke. That decision taught us how how we valued quality over instant profits.
Ever since, Our ingredients didn’t change, our method didn’t change, mostly our purity did not change. That is the main reason not just celebs and influencers but top chefs like Chef Amey Marathe (Paradise head chef), Masterchef Smruthi Shree Singh, Masterchef Amrita Raichand, and nations’ top food bloggers like the gutless foodie etc., not just reviewed our pickles but indeed love our pickles and few have become our regular customers. Our ingredients speak about our success in this venture of ours called “Spicy Chicken Pickle”.
